Lois Bird

Lois Reese Taylor King Bird 1933 ~ 2008 Orem - Our mother, grandmother and sister, Lois Bird, passed away November 9, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 4, 1933 in Salina, Utah to Nephi and Cora Reese, who died following childbirth. She was raised from birth by Leonard and Cora Taylor as their own. She married Walter Don Bird June 27, 1953 in Loa, Utah; later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Lois enjoyed life and was always happy. She loved traveling and visiting friends and family. She especially loved being part of her childrens and grandchildrens lives. She found peace of mind in her temple work. Lois is survived by her children: Scott (Lori) Bird and JoAnn (Jeff) Hansen; 6 grandchildren; brothers: Denzel and Eldon Taylor. Preceded in death by her husbands: Don Bird and Johnny King; and daughter, Linda Lee Bird. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008, 10:00 a.m. in the Orem Cascade 6th Ward, 430 East 400 North where a viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and again Thursday, 9-9:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 3:30 p.m. at the Loa City Cemetery.
