Lois Gunderson

Lois Ure Gunderson Together Again Lois Ure Gunderson, age 77, passed away May 24, 2008 in Taylorsville. Born August 10, 1930 in Farmington, Utah a daughter of Thomas Lorin and Beulah May Harris Ure. She married Gerald Ray Gunderson, June 18, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, he preceded her in death in 2006. Lois was a member of the LDS Church, she served as ward librarian for 22 years and she enjoyed doing genealogy. She loved to put puzzles together and also enjoyed archery, bowling, miniature golf and Disneyland. Survived by children, Gerry (Raelyn) Gunderson, Sherrie (Dennis) McCarthy, Crystal (Rod) Weldon, Karen Gunderson; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Willis Ure; sister Peggy LeGrande. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at the Bennion Heights 5th Ward 5775 South 2700 West. Friends and family may visit Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
