Lola Walje

Lola Walje "Loving Grandmother" Lola Jane Dumas Walje, 84, passed away January 20, 2009 in Riverton, Utah. Born November 26, 1924 in Draper, Utah, daughter of Charles Arlo and Emily Merelda Dumas. Married J. Richard Walje December 1948 in Elko, Nevada; he preceded her in death. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various callings. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survived by sons: Richard (Michelle), Kevin (Rexene) and Barry (Brenda); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings: Norma Dean Hawkinson, Carolee Luhrs, Douglas Dumas and Ben Dumas. Friends and family may call Friday, January 23, 2009, 10:00 -10:45 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
