Loreto Carlos Leon, 31, of Safford, passed away April 16, 2018 in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born December 21, 1986 in Safford, Arizona to Carlos Leon & Luz Delgado. He was the "older brother" to Francisco Antonio Leon.
He attended schools in Safford, graduating from Safford High School in 2005. While in high school he found his groove by playing the drums and even played in a band. Loreto then enrolled at Eastern Arizona college where he took courses at the Phelps Dodge Training Center for diesel mechanic and auto mechanics. While attending college he continued his love of playing drums in one of "The Battle of the Bands" contests.
Loreto's biggest love was anything to do with racing, motors and speed! He loved motor sports and the racing industry. If it had a motor he could make it fly, whatever it was. He would spend many days at raceway with his family. He really enjoyed the monster truck rally's, both watching and racing.
He is survived by his loving parents Carlos Leon & Luz Delgado, his younger brother Francisco Antonio Leon, and his dogs Mollie & Tanner.
Loreto is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and three aunts.
