Lorraine Longstreet

Lorraine Jane Longstreet, 66, of Peridot, passed away May 19, 2016 in Gilbert, AZ. She was born December 10, 1949 to Felipe & Lida Sanchez in San Carlos, AZ.She Elementary Day School, Nofsger Hill in Globe and graduated from Globe High School. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her children. She also loved to sing and would often times be singing as she worked.Lorraine is survived by her children, Valorie Pechuli, Yolanda (Randy) Hopkins, Miranda (Emery) Brown, Kendralyn (Mitchell, Jr.) Antonia, Eveline Longstreet, McKenzie Longstreet, Jr., McArthur (Vanessa) Longstreet, Muriel Longstreet, Mario Longstreet & Samantha Sanchez. She is also survived by her siblings; Russell (Georgianna) Joey, Philmon (Paula) Joey, Glenda Joey, Steven Joey, Anthony (Delores) Joey, Randa U. Joey, Raymond Joey, Jr. and Matilda (Michael) Longstreet, 35 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, McKenzie Longstreet, Sr., and daughters; Margilene and Lorenda Longstreet.A wake will be held on Friday, May 27th at 4:00 p.m. in the Holly Square with the funeral service on Saturday, May 28th at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilson Wash Activity Center in San Carlos. Interment will be in the Six Mile Cemetery in San Carlos following the services.
