Louise Taylor

May Louise Weech Taylor was born on August 27, 1924 in Los Angeles, CA to David H Weech & Hannah May Allen. She was the first living daughter in a large family of brothers. She always said she was just a little spoiled. She returned to her eternal home on August 1, 2018 in Ft Thomas, AZ with her family by her side. She married Douglas Farr Taylor on May 12, 1943 in Lawton Oklahoma where he was stationed in the U.S. Army. On January 14, 1944 they were sealed in the Arizona LDS temple for eternity. Farr and Louise enjoyed working, trips, and building a log cabin together. She loved the Lord and enjoyed working in the different organizations of the church. Serving as President of Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary. She enjoyed serving her fellowmen. Besides spending time with her family and friends she enjoyed crossword puzzles, needle point, riding roller coasters at Disneyland, and watching the Diamondbacks. Spending time at her Columbine cabin with her family was always a favorite. She was full of fun and adventure. May Louise is survived by her children: Douglas A (Leora) Taylor of Pima, Vernell (Barry) Flake of Snowflake, Terrell (John) Haws of St Johns, Kristi (Chris) Kelliher of Ft Thomas and her daughter-in-law Darla Taylor of Chandler. Also surviving are her sisters Lawanna Morris, Norlene Robinson, Verla Wheeler, and Davida Baumgardner, along with 33 grandchildren, 107 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren with more on the way. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, parents, brothers, and son Weston Farr. Her granddaughter Shayde Haws and great grandchildren Roper Flake, Zachary Taylor, and Mason Lazier also welcomed her home. May Louise Taylor was a positive influence and will be missed by her community, friends and all who knew her. She leaves a great legacy of hard work and service to all who loved her. A viewing will be held August 10th from 6 to 8 pm at the McDougal's Funeral Caldwell Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 am at the Pima LDS Stake Center followed by the funeral service at 10 am. Interment will be in the Pima Cemetery following the service.
