Lupe Terrazas

Lupe Mora Terrazas entered eternal rest at her home in Thatcher, AZ on August 31st, 2018 at the age of 78. Lupe was born July 28th, 1940 in Hacita, New Mexico to Jose and Dolores Mora. She had 10 siblings; Pete Mora, Albert Mora, Johnny Mora, Gilbert Mora, David Mora, Joe Mora, Virginia Lopez, Paula Arambula, and Ellen Dominguez. On November 24th, 1958 Lupe married Francisco Terrazas in Roswell, NM. The couple had 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Lupe loved to crochet and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family above all else and loved to babysit her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a big Atlanta Braves fan and will be remembered by many around town for her unselfishness, her giving nature and how she was always willing to help anyone at any time. She loved her family very much and never failed to tell them "I Love You." Lupe is survived by her husband Francisco Terrazas, her children; Rosie (Tom) Chaidez, Dolores (Raymond) Nabor, Frank (Maria) Terrazas, Rachel (Jerry) Nabor, Eddy (Veronica) Terrazas, Margaret (Roy) Vidales, her siblings; Joe Mora, David Mora, Gilbert Mora, Pete Mora, Albert Mora, Ellen Dominguez, Robert Mora and Johnny Mora. Lupe is preceded in death by Jose Mora, Dolores Mora, Virginia Lopez, Paula Arambula and Daniel Nabor. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Nicodemus Shaghel, VC as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Thatcher Cemetery following services.
