Lyle Sletten

Lyle W. Sletten 1932 ~ 2008 Our beloved husband and father passed away September 10, 2008 after a courageous fight with cancer. He bravely served his country in Korea and Viet Nam, retiring from the US Air Force after 25 years. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing, his wood shop and working with his hands. He was the most loving husband and father and will be sorely missed. Survived by his sweetheart, Lee; children: Joe (Todda), Debra (Richard), John (Maureen), Michelle (Gerald), Mark (Lisa), and Deneene (Rex); 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby Sletten; 2 brothers; 1 sister. The family wishes to thank the wonderful people at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, CareSource, and most of all our guardian angel on earth, Dr. Jeffery Ayers. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008, 5:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
