Lynda Aranda Perez passed away peacefully on November 28, 2015, after a courageous fight with cancer. She is reunited with her mother, Anita Aranda, her grandparents, uncle Bobby Holguin, sister Lisa Garcia, and good friend, Sandy Busby. Lynda was born on November 15, 1952, in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, to Fernando and Anita Aranda. She grew up in Solomon, Arizona. She was active in her high school years, participating in the baton squad, student council, and treasurer of the C.Y.O. On January 3, 1970, Lynda married Milton Perez of Morenci, Arizona. The couple moved to Tucson, Arizona and raised two children. Lynda was a homemaker and enjoyed country decorating, shopping, collecting dolls, gardening, listening to oldies and being around family and friends. She will most be remembered for her love of family and grandchildren. Lynda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Milton Perez, children, Jeanette (Ken) Mead and Milton Perez, sisters, Becky, Kathy and Rachel, brothers, Fernando, Paul, Tommy and Pancho, grandchildren, Kenny, Maricela, Anissa, Jose, Adriana, Carlos and Nick, and one great-grandchild, Samuel. Enormous gratitude to the staff of Casa de la Luz for their excellent care and compassion during Lynda's last weeks. A memorial service for Lynda will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015, with a viewing beginning one hour prior at 10 a.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery.
