Manuel Alvarado

Manuel Garcia Alvarado, 56, a Safford resident, died Sunday, December 13, 2009. He was born in Safford, AZ on February 20, 1953. Manny worked for John Deere / Central Implement for thirty years, but his passion was for Harleys and cars. Whether he was working on his bike, or heading down the road on a ride, he loved to be outside. He also loved cooking for everyone. Mannys outgoing personality found him many friends in his life. He was a loving father, a devoted son, and a cherished sibling. He was known for his humor, generosity, and his dedication to family and the Lord. Manny is survived by his children Isaac, Candace, Cory, and their mother Catherine; Rodney, Jamie, and Clarissa; six grandchildren; sisters Juanita, Olivia, and Barbara; brothers Tomas, Luis, Armando, and Carlos; and many beautiful nieces and nephews. Manny was preceded in death by his father Juan, mother Julia, and sister-in-law Amanda Alvarado. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Church of Safford. Viewing will be at 8:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
