Marcial Hernandez

Marcial Martinez Hernandez, 94, of Tucson, formerly of Clifton. Entered into rest on Friday, January 22, 2106 in Tucson, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 21, 1921 in Clifton, to Marcial and Maria Hernandez.Father of 7 children, 24 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren. He worked in the mines of Arizona and even the CCC camps during the great depression. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1941 and served in the South Pacific until 1945.Marcial married Consuelo and they moved to Los Angeles where he worked for the Celotex Roofing Company for 34 years. In 2005 he returned to Arizona to enjoy his golden years.Viewing will be on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. with Rosary at 9:00 a.m. by Pastor Edward Nabor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, with Rev. Father Robert Rodriguez as celebrant.Graveside Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
