Marcus Moses "Babs", born on July 19, 1986, in San Carlos, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2025, in Bylas, Arizona. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who dedicated his life to uplifting those around him. As a self-employed yard worker, Marcus enjoyed the fruits of honest labor, often lending a helping hand without expecting anything in return.
Graduating from Fort Thomas High School in 2005, Marcus embodied a humble spirit throughout his life, marked by kindness and a loving nature. His sarcastic sense of humor radiated warmth, ensuring that his friends and family were always smiling in his presence. Known for his optimism, he would often say, "Everything's going to be alright," offering comfort to those who might be struggling.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Margaret Moses Henry & Fervel Henry, Sr, and his treasured sons—Jiovonnie Lang, Marques Moses, Dwayne Moses, and Marcus Christopher Moses. His siblings, Felicia (Terdell) Lang, Marlin Moses, Keyena Henry, and Philbert Moses, will carry on his legacy of love and laughter. The family's bonds extend to the joy brought by his father Dwayne Wilson, his brother Gavin, as well as grandparents Vincent and Linda Moses, and his paternal grandfather Rudy Henry, Sr. who all left us too soon.
In honor of Marcus, a viewing will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Moses Residence in Bylas, Arizona. Following this, a funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, commencing at 1:00 PM at the Bylas Boys & Girls Club, allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate his life. Burial will take place in the Navajo Point Cemetery following services.
Marcus was not only a diligent worker but also an avid football enthusiast, a passionate cook, and an artisan devoted to crafting beautiful staves. His dogs, Turke and Bear, made his life even more joyful, embodying that unyielding love that defined him.
Though he has left this world, Marcus Moses's memory will live on in the hearts and smiles of all he touched throughout his life. The legacies of his compassion, humor, and unwavering support will remain cherished, reminding us every day of the countless ways he made this life more beautiful.
