Margaret Birdsall

LaVerne Birdsall 1927 ~ 2009 Margaret LaVerne Anderson Birdsall, age 82, died October 7, 2009 in Saratoga Springs, Utah. She was born February 9, 1927 in Granger, Utah to Edward Abner Anderson and Elma Caroline Anderson. Married Philley Meredith Birdsall, November 10, 1948 in Salt Lake; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, having served in many positions, with her greatest love being Relief Society and Scouting. She was accomplished as a seamstress, cook and in cross stitching, blessing many with her talents. She found peace and joy in her family and treasured being Grandma. Survived by her children, Margo and Lee Rosenhan; Deborah and Don Garner; and Craig; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jeannine (Bob) Turner; Betty Ross and Ingrid Pacheco; and her beloved dog, Snowball. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Edward Abner Jr. and Richard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 11:30 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends and family may call, 10-11:00 a.m. prior to service. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
