Margarette Barton

Margarette Barton 1908 ~ 2010 Margarette Ruth Nelson Barton, age 101, passed away February 22, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born September 26, 1908 in Marshall, TX. She was a member of Eastern Star and Senior Friends. Survived by children: Margaret (Charles) Davenport, Johnny (Berena) Grant, Donna Lou Harris, Pat Jackson, Irvin Nelson, Irwin Nelson and Dolly (Ricky) Lego; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Leona Nelson and Plumie Dancey; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Marianne Breeze. Preceded in death by her husband, Judge Barton; 4 sons; 1 daughter. The family would like to give a special thanks to the team at Avalon Rehab Center and Bristol Hospice for their kindness. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
