Margarita Barriga

Maragarita Duenas Barriga, 80, of Thatcher, entered into rest on June 7, 2012 at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 31, 1931 in Morenci, Arizona. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who cared for her family above all things She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Barriga; her daughter Lydia Barriga; her parents, and one great-grandson. She is survived by her son, Tony Barriga; her daughter, Frances Brannen; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Father Edward Lucero as celebrant. A viewing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11 at St. Rose of Lima with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
