Margery Haynie

October 10, 1930 — March 27, 2019

Margery Anne Haynie, formerly of Thatcher, passed away March 27, 2019 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born October 10, 1930 in Simla, Colorado to James Roy Cain & LaVerne Worrall Cain. Margery grew up with her four siblings; Aldean, Joyce, Jimmy & John. She graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado then went on to attend college studying business. Margery was blessed with three lovely children, Melody, Johnna & Jayson. She soon got a job with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a secretary. Margery loved to read, do needlecrafts, puzzles and dancing the jitterbug. She was quick witted and loved being with her extended family, was a lver of nature and treasured babies. One of her favorite sayings was "shoulda, coulda, woulda!" She is survived by her children Melody A. Mayer of Las Vegas, NV, Johnna S. Logan of Safford, AZ and Jayson J. Haynie of Atlanta, GA, her brother John Cain of Ft. Morgan, CO, 16 grandchildren and 30 plus great-grandchildren. Margery was preceded in death by her parents James R. Cain & LaVerne B. Worral Cain, her siblings Aldean Frye, Joyce Bell and Jimmy Cain. No services are planned, and donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
