Maricela Lopez

Maricela Marci M. Lopez, 23, of Winnemucca, Nevada, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009, in a car accident near Mojave, CA. She was born January 24, 1986, in Tucson, AZ to Elaine C. Lopez and Fredrick Dominic Rosales. Marci spent the first nine years of her life in Clifton, AZ and later moved with her mother to Winnemucca, NV where she spent her young adolescent life. She was attending Rocky Mountain College in Montana, as aviation major. Marci was very involved with the American Red Cross, 4-H, Choir, Band, Civil Air Patrol, Winnemucca White River Swim Team, Lowry High School Swim Team and many other clubs, organizations and events in Winnemucca & Montana. Marci is survived by her mother Elaine C. Lopez, father Fredrick D. Rosales, grandfather Rodolfo T. Lopez, grandmother Connie Rosales, Uncles; Martin Rosales, Mike Rosales, John C. Lopez, Richard R. Lopez, Robert C. Lopez, Aunts; Mary Helen Hamilton, Margaret Buzzard, Madeline Lopez and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton with Viewing at 9 a.m. and Rosary and Mass to begin at 10 a.m.. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
