Marjorie Betts Eiler Devoted Wife, Mother, & Grandmother Marjorie Betts Eiler, 88, joined her husband in eternal rest on Saturday, November 8, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Marjorie was born April 17, 1926 in Jewel, Kansas to Berg and Amy Betts. On November 30, 1949 she married her life-long love, Leonard Eiler. While living in Beloit, KS, they had four children. In 1957 the family moved to Safford, AZ. She was an active member of the Graham County Search & Rescue squad and enjoyed taking care of countless children in her home. Marjorie is survived by her children, Karen (David) Schneider, Deann (Terril) Palmer, Carla (Darrell) Lawrence, and Debra (Pete) Smith, 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard, sisters; Martha and Agnes, and her brother James. A Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel. The Rosary was led on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial being conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed in the Gila Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
