Marjorie Hancock

Marjorie Hancock Blondie Marjorie Mavis Muggeridge Hancock, passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 surrounded by all her loving family. Born April 30, 1930 in Laingsberg South Africa to Percy Howard and Maria Magdalena Victor Muggeridge. Mom was always surrounded by love. She grew up in South Africa in a large, loving family. She married Desmond Hancock and they had four children. We had many great adventures together. She had a love for the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. She loved people and was always quick to help all those around her. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a delight to her. Survived by her husband, Desmond; children, Mary-Ann, Rosemary, Brian, Debbie; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Miriam, Gladys, Edith, Percy, Jessie & Milly. Preceded in death by siblings, Frank, Fred and Gwennie. Funeral services will be Monday, March 30, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Briarwood Ward, 3751 South 2200 West. There will be no viewing at Marjories request. Services under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
