Marlina Goseyun-Jordan, 81, of Bylas, passed away December 30, 2016. She was born July 17, 1935 in San Carlos, AZ to Albert Goseyun & Agatha Dustin.
She attended school through the 8th grade at the Bylas Day School. She was a member of the Point of Pined Livestock organization. The awards and recognition that she received are: the Ribbon Cutting award - April 2007 and the First Annual Goseyun Reunion - December 2009. She loved being a seamstress, acorn picking, attending traditional ceremonies with her family, spending time with her grandkids, frying meat outdoors and family cookouts. She married Delbert Jordan, Sr. on July 5, 1954.
Marlina is survived by her children; Andrita Jordan, Debra J. Davis, Marilyn J. Bush, Tessie J. Dillon, Glenda J. Patten, Savina J. Molina, Spurrell Jordan and Phillipia Jordan. She is also survived by her sister, Arlene G. Wilson and 27 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Jordan, Sr., her parents, Albert Goseyun & Agatha Dustin, her sons Dan Harney and Delbert Jordan, Jr., and her siblings; Zina G. Johnson, Roy Goseyun, Sr., Oren Goseyun, Margaret Tsosie and Allen Goseyun.
A Wake for Marlina will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Jordan residence in Bylas with the funeral service on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ernest Stanley Memorial Hall in Bylas with interment in the Navajo Point Cemetery in Bylas.
