Marrianne T. Hinton-Rowley, 81, of Safford, AZ, peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 24, 2017 at her home with her loving family around her. She was born October 30, 1935 in Florence, Arizona to Elias L. & Etta Lee Tidwell.
Marrianne earned her Master's Degree in Education at the University of Arizona and put that to great use as a teacher in the Public-School system here in Arizona.
In her spare time, she was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, the Women's Club, the Red Hat Society, an EAC Board member, a member of the Eastern Star and a Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls. She also loved quilting, sewing, traveling and most importantly, her children, grandchildren and great-grand children and her longtime companion Richard Bingham.
She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Hinton, Brenda Hinton-Harvey (Shawn), Marie Hinton-Johnson and Max T. Hinton (Anne), 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Marrianne was preceded in death by her parents Elias & Etta Tidwell, first husband Max B. Hinton and second husband Dale D. Rowley.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and the again on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. with everything being held at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery immediately following services.
