Martin Fleming

Martin W. Fleming Marty Martin W. Fleming passed away peacefully July 5, 2008. Marty was born February 14, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Martin Francis and Marguerite Wright Fleming. He attended Loyola High School and Loyola College where he graduated as a Commissioned Officer. He served his country for 15 years, December 1958 thru July 1973 where he attained the rank of Major. Worked 25 years with the Salt Lake County Assessors Office, retiring in 2000. Married Elaine Seim in 1960; later divorced. They had five children: Judy, Gregory, Jill, Barrie and Diana (deceased). Married Koye Campbell Benner September 2, 1991. She had two children, Stacey and Steve Benner. Survived by wife, Koye; 6 children; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Jeannie McQueeny; brother, Tom Fleming. Thank you to Woodland Park for their care and support. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 1:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
