Martin Jimenez

Martin "San Juanie" Ramos Jimenez Jr., 83, of Clifton passed away on April 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on December 23, 1928 in Morenci to Isabel and Martin Jimenez Sr. Martin worked for Phelps Dodge until his retirement in 1983. Everyone remembers his wonderful smile. All of his life he was a very hard worker, always helping others when he could. He was a kind man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was an avid gardener and loved his grandchildren dearly. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morenci. Mass of Christian burial will follow the Rosary. Martin is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; three brothers and a daughter, Jane Bellmont. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice M. Jimenez; Son, Richard Alcorn; Daughters, Jeanne (Gerald Padgett) and Mary (Buddy) Montoya of Tucson; Grandchildren, Brian and Mark Williams, Karen and Jason Bellmont, Tommy and Michael Montoya, and numerous nieces and nephews.
