Marva Miller

Marva Yvonne Miller, 75, passed away quietly after a short illness with her family by her side on June 24, 2013, in Goodyear, Arizona. Marva was born May 31, 1938 in Safford, Arizona to Myrtle Blaker & Marvin Meredith. She worked as Certified Nurses Assistant at the hospital and nursing home in the Gila Valley. Her hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, reading books, sewing, trips to the lake and trips going anywhere. Marva especially loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marva is survived by her children Allen (Betty) Miller of Tonopah, Arizona, Joe Miller of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Penny Miller of Safford, Arizona, Frank (Vicki) Miller of Pima, Arizona, sister Genevina, 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Farrell Miller, son Timothy Miller, grandson Michael Miller, two nieces and sister Karen. Services for Marva will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the 1st Christian Church of Safford, 1726 1st Avenue. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
