Marvin Jarvis

James A. Jarvis 1933 ~ 2009 James Albert Jarvis, 76, passed away February 28, 2009 in Murray, Utah. Born January 12, 1933 in MonteVideo, Minnesota, son of Matthew George and Mary Margaret Child Jarvis. Married Pastora Elissette Perdomo October 8, 1972; later solemnized in the Salt lake Temple. He was a projectionist in the theater in Delta, Utah and retired from AT & T. He was fun loving, a car fanatic and loved trains. Survived by wife, Elissette; children: Brent, Lori, Renee, Darren, Lane, Heidi, Julio, James Jr., Jay and Danielle; 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; 2 sons; 3 brothers; 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Jordan 3rd Ward, 8950 South 400 East where a viewing will be held 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to help with funeral costs. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
