Mary Antillon

Biography Mary P Antillon, 88, of Thatcher passed away on Dec 8, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on Nov 1, 1923 in Artesia to Refugio and Angela Arvizu Pacheco. She was one of seven children. She attended school in Safford and graduated in 1941. In January 1946 she married Dan Antillon. They had one daughter, Carolyn. She was employed as the office manager for the Ford Dealership for 25 years. Throughout her life Mary enjoyed working in her flower garden, especially with her geraniums. She enjoyed spending her summers at their home in Lakeside-Pinetop. Mary was a member of the American Legion Auxiallry for 61 years. She was also a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Dan, parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her sister Helen Craig of Safford and daughter Carolyn of Mesa, and many nieces and nephews. A vigil and rosary service will be held on Thursday Dec 15 at 6 pm at Caldwell Funeral Chapel. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday Dec 16 at 2 pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
