Mary Beckstead

Mary Arlene Beckstead Arlene Mary Arlene Beckstead, 82, died in Albuquerque, NM on Jan. 2, 2008 following a prolonged illness. She was born Sept. 6, 1925 in Hinckley, UT to Orlan and Leona Jacobson Pope. She married George Mecham and had two children: George and Mary Louise. She later married Anthony Vert. Following their divorce she married Rex Beckstead, residing in West Jordan for more than thirty years. Arlene found great joy in her family and serving in the D.U.P. She was preceded in death by her husband Rex, her daughter Mary Louise, and her brother Robert Delvar Pope. We wish to acknowledge Larinda Mortons loving care for Arlene. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 7, 2007, 12:00 noon at the West Jordan 44th Ward, 1899 West 7600 South. The viewing will be held from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
