Mary Garcia

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 14, 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Viewing will be Thursday evening at the Church from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary Service 7 p.m. Mary Louise Garcia, 86 of Pima passed away August 9 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born May 17, 1923 in Solomon to Tomas & Maria Franco Escobedo. She married Casey Garcia on June 7, 1941 and they were blessed with 4 children. Mrs. Garcia was a member of the Ladies of St. Rose, Catholic Daughters of America, Mt. Graham Hospital Auxiliary, Pima PTA, and the Graham Co. Election Board. She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit 6 continents. Mrs. Garcia loved being with her family and making family & event albums. She is survived by her husband Casey Garcia of 68 years, children Rick Garcia of Pima, Danny (Kathy) Garcia of Yuma, Vivian (Bob) Klee of Yuma, and Sandy (Paul) McCullar of Tucson, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jessie Formica of Show Low, brothers Fred Escobedo of Glendale, and Albert Escobedo of El Dorado Hills, CA. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Angel, Tommy and Alfred Escobedo and sister Amelia Echandia.
