Mary Hutchings

M. Elaine Hutchings Lainie Elaine Hutchings, 64, passed away April 4, 2010 in West Valley City, Utah. Born July 1, 1945 in West Chester, PA, daughter of Imri and Bernice Page Hutchings. Raised in the Pittsburgh, PA area where she worked as a special education teachers aide. Moved to Utah in 2001. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple, one of her favorite callings among many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her but especially by her baby kitty, Duke. Survived by brother, Alan (Linda) Hutchings and his family; best friend/sister, Mary (Les) Nelson and their children: Emmalee (Julius) and their daughter, Kaitee Thompson, and Jon Nelson. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Janet; brother, Paul. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where family and friends may visit, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery. As per Elaines wishes, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the LDS Church missionary fund or the Humane Society.
