Mary Maller

Mary Ann Maller, 78, of Duncan, passed away at her home on May 31, 2013. She was born to Martin & Beatrice Peterson in Gordon, Nebraska. In 1950 she married Durward Bud Jones and to that union 2 sons and 1 daughter were born. Mary Ann was crowned PRCA Rodeo Queen in 1969 and in 1974 she married her best friend, Hugh Maller in Ten Sleep, Wyoming and with that union came 2 step-children. Mary Ann was a die hard Republican, business woman, rancher and dental hygienist. She fed and took care of horses and a few steer a few weeks before her passing. Mary Ann was everybodys biggest fan. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Maller, and parents Martin & Beatrice Peterson. She is survived by her sons Lee and Bart Jones of Thermopolis, WY, daughter Suzan (Jim) Crotts of Duncan, AZ, step-son Scott (Jane) Maller of Crowheart, WY, step-daughter Gloria (Rob) Philp of Lysite, WY, 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren and 3 Nieces. A Memorial service will be held June 22, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Smoking Waters Shelter in Thermopolis, WY.
