Mary Rasmussen

Mary Rasmussen 1922 ~ 2008 Mary Virginia Williams Rasmussen, aka Gramma Ras, G. Ma, My Mamacita, died peacefully in her sleep November 17, 2008. Born June 21, 1922 in Houston, Texas, daughter of Joseph Alvin and Thalia Alta Spaulding Williams. Married her only love, Stan Rasmussen, November 20, 1941 in Spokane, Washington; he preceded her in death July 13, 1973. Proud member of the D.A.R. Charter member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church. Survived by children: Donna Price, California; Dennis Rasmussen, West Valley City; Ann Marie Olsen, Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by sister, Betty Williams. A special thank you to her extended family at Intermountain Baptist Church for the many years of love, respect, adoration and grace poured upon Mom, their honorary member. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at the Intermountain Baptist Church, 4770 South 1950 West.
