Melba Standing

Melba Allen Standing 1920 ~ 2008 Melba Allen Standing, age 87, beloved mom, grandma passed away February 15, 2008 of age-related illness. She was born December 25, 1920 in Logan, Utah to Reuben Franklin and Agnes Matilda Pope Allen. Married Lawrence Standing, he preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Gordon in Salt Lake City and Ronald in Colorado; sister, Emajean Hansen in Midvale. Preceded in death by her husband. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Woodland Park Care Center. The family would like a special thank-you to Gordon for the years of caring and concern. A viewing will be Friday, February 22, 2008, 11:00 -12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery.
