Melissa Ethelbah

Melissa Suzette Nelson-Ethelbah, 38, of Bylas, passed away March 28, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born July 21, 1977 in Phoenix, AZ to Vivian Bonito & Timothy Nelson, Sr. Melissa attended and graduated from Fort Thomas High School. She married Julian Ethelbah on June 21, 2009 in Bylas, AZ and to that union were born 4 children; Rissa, Kalissa, Autumn and Tymberie. She was a homemaker who lived to cook, sew, do bead-work, traveling and spending time with her family. Melissa welcomed the birth of each of her children with warmth and love and was really happy about the birth of her 1st grandchild. She had love enough for everyone and was pleased to welcome her nieces and nephews into her heart as each of them was born. She is survived by her loving husband, Julian, her children; Rissa, Kalissa, Autumn and Tymberie Jules Ethelbah, her grandson; Easton Ethelbah and another one on the way, parents; Timothy and Mildred Nelson, Sr, and siblings; Sherrill (Elloitt) Talgo, Timothy Nelson, Jr., Timalee Nelson and Jaggo Nozie. Melissa is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Boito, Lamson and Salina Nelson and Harry and Elizabeth Bonito. A wake will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ethelbah residence in Bylas with the funeral service on Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Memorial Hall in Bylas. Interment will be in the Navajo Point Cemetery.
