Michael Davis

Michael McClellan Davis 1958 ~ 2009 Michael McClellan Davis, age 50, died April 26, 2009, at his home in Murray, Utah. He was born September 4, 1958 in Ogden, Utah, to Kenneth M. and Marjorie Miller Davis. He married Carolyn Stratton Russell in Las Vegas, Nevada November 21, 1981 with her daughter, Angie and son, Shawn. He worked for Salt Lake City Street Department for over 20 years doing concrete work and driving a snow plow in the winter. Mike was creative and talented in many ways. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and was a master mechanic and welder. His interests included camping in the mountains, enjoying the beautiful outdoors and spending time with his dogs, Doodle and Pepper. Mikes true passion in life was hot rods! He loved going on rod runs with his friends and smokin the tires on his 55 Chevy. We all miss you very much, Mike. Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Davis; Christy and John Hoff of Weiser, Idaho; Jerry Davis of Rigby, Idaho; Gene Davis of Boise, Idaho; Curtis and Rebecca Davis of Holladay, Utah; Brent Davis of West Valley, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; sister, Teresa Nowaskey. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 2, 2009, 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Services are under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
