Michael Jones

Michael Edward Jones, 56, of Safford, passed away June 20, 2010, in Safford, AZ. Michael was born November 6, 1954 in Phoenix, AZ., to Rosalie McClelland and Clemey Calvin Jones. He grew up in El Mirage, AZ, attending Dysart Schools. He worked many years in the construction industry in Sun City and other Phoenix area locations. Michael came to the Safford area in 1990 and worked for contractors at the Morenci mine. Michael is survived by his parents Rosalie & Charles Pratt, sister, Karen (Clyde) French, sons; Michael and David, fiance, Helen Montgomery, nieces; Kelly (Bru) Montez, Brooke (Josh) Lucas, nephew; Jeremiah French, great nephews and neices; Cameron & Kaitlyn Humphrey, Kyler & Michael Montez, Manuel & Elijah Campos, Chloe, Jacey & Cody Lucas, Ashley French, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his father Clemey Jones and infant brother Martin. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Pratt Family home, 1544 S. Pheasant Lane in Thatcher, AZ.
