Michael Patrick Ketch Taggart 1940 ~ 2008 Michael Patrick Ketch Taggart, 68, of Salt Lake City, Utah died November 4, 2008 at Fairview Care Center, following a lengthy illness. Michael was born July 3, 1940 in Portland, Oregon to Ferris and Helen Ileen McClellan Ketch. Following his fathers death, Michael was adopted by Ross Taggart following the marriage of Ross and Helen. He graduated from Judge Memorial High School in Salt Lake City and then attended Boise State College. Michael worked as a volunteer at Alliance House in Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael is survived by his sister: Jeanine Tag West and Donald C. West (brother-in-law), Green River; nieces, Heather Luzmoor (Joel), and Katie Henrie (Daniel); nephews, Joseph, Samuel, Spencer, Isaac and Eli West; and other surviving family members including his great-niece, Clarine Helen Luzmoor; cousins Dorothy Parks, Sue Petersen and Margaret Banks. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Ferris Ketch; mother, Helen Taggart;, father, Ross Taggart; and aunt Genevieve Taggart. There will be a viewing held in Michaels honor on Sunday, November 9, 2008, 6:00 7:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A graveside service will be held, Monday, November 10, 2008, 12:00 noon at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
