Miguel Mike Lucio Espinoza, age 83, of Clifton, passed away September 30, 2015. Mike was born December 20, 1931, in San Jose, Arizona, to Lorenzo and Tomasa Espinoza. Mike grew up in the Morenci area. He attended school at Morenci High School, graduating with the class of 1950. A couple years after graduation, Mike met the love of his life, Casimira Cassie Holguin. They were married November 22, 1952. In order to provide for his new family, Mike enlisted in the United States Army, serving from March 1953 to March 1955. He was always very proud of military service and continued to be involved in the American Legion and Honor Guard for most of his life. Mike was a Truck driver for over 36 years. When he wasnt working, he enjoyed passing his time fishing, hunting, playing softball, dancing, reading, and of course, spending time with his family, especially with his grandkids. He was also an avid Washington Redskins fan, never missing a game. Mike leaves behind his dear wife of 62 years, Cassie, his children, Lupe (Henry) Lopez, Nellie (Dennis) Nofchissey, Mike Jr. (Delfie) Espinoza, Lorenzo Espinoza, and Rick (Liz) Espinoza, 4 siblings, Sally Beltran, Nicholas Espinoza, Amelia Lucio, and Vera Garcia, as well as 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Tomasa, brothers, Gregorio and Rudolfo Espinoza, sisters, Orelia Lalis Moreno and Esther Tavison, and grandsons, Santiago Jimmy Villescas, and Christopher Chris Nofchissey. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mike will be on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton. Family will receive friends beginning at 8 a.m. and Rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
