Mildred Sherman

Mildred Vaughn Sherman, 72, of Safford, entered into rest on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her home in Safford. She was born on May 22, 1943 in Soper, OK, to Eldon and Vira Vaughn. Mildred was a member of the Assembly of God Church.She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She is survived by her husband Charles Sherman of Safford; sons, Elwayne Sherman (Tina Meschel) of Tulsa, OK, and Vaughn Walter Sherman (Rene) of Safford; daughters, Laurie Lynn Brashear (Larry) of Safford, and Tina Kay Banks of Safford; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Grace Tabernacle Church in Safford. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Safford Cemetery.
