Mildred Warr Matriarch Mildred Delila Shelton Warr, 87, passed away July 31, 2007 in West Valley City, Utah. Born March 27, 1920 in Roosevelt, Utah, daughter of George and Lucretia Ann Clark Shelton. Married Stanley John Warr October 16, 1937 in Granger, Utah; later solemnized September 7, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many stake and ward leadership positions. Also an active member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers for over 30 years and served on the International Board for six years. She was proud of her pioneer heritage. She loved her family and enjoyed having them gather at her home on holidays and birthdays. Survived by her husband, Stan; children: Dennis (Gail) Warr, Scott (Vickie) Warr, David (Joni) Warr, Bonnie (Ralph) Ashworth, all of West Valley City; Bonner (Janice) Warr, Kingwood, TX; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; brother, Steve (Sharon) Shelton, Taylorsville. Preceded in death by son, Lynn; grandchildren: Subrina and Dallin; great-grandchildren: Chad and Leslie. Mom will always be loved and missed Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger West 4th Ward, 3305 South 3960 West. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
