Mitcheal Price

Mitcheal Odall Price, 84, of Thatcher Arizona passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011. He was born at home on June 18, 1927 in Pearce, Arizona to Augusta and Henry Price. Mitcheal grew up in Douglas, Arizona, and on October 22, 1945, at the age of eighteen, married Marcellene Beam in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They were soon blessed with two daughters, Connie (Houkom) and Carolyn (Sanchez). Together with their small family they lived in Morenci for 35 years while Mitcheal worked at the mine. He worked in the mining industry for 39 years; the majority of that time was spent with Phelps Dodge. After their years in Morenci, Mitcheal and his family moved to Thatcher where they have been ever since. Mitcheal enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife Marcellene; his brothers, Edward, John, Lloyd, Tiny and Clarence; his sisters, Vivian (Norris), Alene Price, Louise (Bloddge), Francis (Meadows), and Netty (Garey); his granddaughter, Cheryl Dwarika, and great-granddaughter, Kassidy Pace. He is survived by his sister Marjorie Hart; daughters, Connie Houkom and Carolyn (Ray) Sanchez; grandchildren Steven Sanderson, and Brandee Houkom and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kody and Kylie Sanderson.
