They also served as missionaries in the Ogden Temple visitors center from 1980 to 1982. They moved in with their daughter Carol Cory and her family in Fairfield, Washington in 1991. It was there Dick died on August 25, 1997. Following Dick's death, Myrtle lived with her children in Fairfield, Salt Lake, and Butte. Myrtle always loved to have her family around her.
