Nancy Francis

Nancy Jean Francis Loving Daughter, Sister & Aunt Nancy Jean Francis, 51, passed away August 28, 2007. Her spirit is now free from her body that had been burdened with Parkinsons Disease for nearly 20 years. Nancy grew up in West Valley City, Utah and graduated from Granger High School in 1974 and then attended Salt Lake Community College. She was a very dedicated worker for 24 years at the US Post Office. She enjoyed using her artistic talents such as crocheting, making baskets, painting and drawing. She loved her family and spent much time with them traveling, fishing, and attending the Hale Centre Theatre and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. She also liked to ski, bowl and attend concerts. Nancy will be remembered for the inspiration that she was throughout her trials. She never faltered in her willingness to share her love and generosity. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Francis; sister, Susan (George) Doty; brother, Steven (Linda) Francis; nieces: Kelly (Gary) Nelson, Dolly and Sara Doty; nephews: Ryan Doty, Wes (Julie), Jon (Kellie) and Tex Francis; great nieces, Baby Kate Nelson, Jessie, Jayd & Shain Francis; and great-nephew, Daylon Francis. Preceded in death by her father, Warren C. Francis; grandmother, Leora Norris. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
