Nancy McCormick

Nancy Sharon McCormick, 74, of Safford quietly entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2017. She was born on July 20, 1943 in Jerome, Arizona to William Cody & Ida Cousland Morin. Nancy attended the University of Arizona where she worked hard to earn her Bachelor's degree and was on the College Dean's List while there. She became a beloved school teacher which showed in the way she loved her students and with the love that was returned to her. She was also a Webelo's Den Mother and a Girl Scout Leader. She loved crocheting, sewing and cooking and baking with her grandchildren. She attended the Living Faith Fellowship Church where she loved using Sign Language to sign the songs. Nancy is survived by her children; Cody (Joyce) McCormick, Lenette Nelson and Lynn (Rita) McCormick, her brother David (Carolyn) Morin and 9 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents William & Ida Morin and granddaughter Tiffany Nelson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Living Faith Fellowship Church in Pomerene, Arizona with interment at 3:00 p.m. in the McNeal Cemetery in McNeal, Arizona.
