Narda Snow

January 17, 1932 — March 2, 2009

Narda R. Snow Sweetheart Narda June Riddle Snow, our loving, sweet wife, mother and grandmother, passed away March 2, 2009. She was born January 17, 1932 in Driggs, Idaho, to T. Lester and Florence King Riddle and later moved with her family to Salt Lake City, Utah where she graduated from South High School. She married her sweetheart, Richard Snow, in the Salt Lake Temple. After graduating from the University of Utah, with a degree in Elementary Education, she taught school while her husband finished his education. They moved to Provo in 1957 and raised their five children. They were happily married for 55 years. She was involved with school activities and served as PTA president. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she selflessly served in many roles including ward and stake Relief Society president. Her life of service was felt by many people who knew her. She had a kind heart, enjoyed baking bread and making beautiful quilts for the benefit of others. One adventure Narda enjoyed among her travels was teaching English in China at Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology. She enjoyed returning numerous times to visit her students whom she loved. She and her husband traveled to many places including Europe and Asia making many happy memories together. Narda was a dedicated family historian Through her efforts and love a detailed history of the Thomas Lester Riddle family has been kept for over 50 years. As a mother she loved her children with all her heart. She is survived by her husband, Richard L.; 5 children: Elizabeth (Richard) Kasper, Thomas R. (Kimberly), Jeffrey L. (Susan), Rebecca (Bert) Harrison, and Jennifer (Kent) Stapley; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Narda will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. We love you, Mother! Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009, 12:00 noon at the LDS Chapel on the corner of 6th East and 7th North, Provo, Utah where a viewing will be held Friday at the church, 6-8 p.m . and Saturday, 10:30-11:40 a.m. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
