Nola M. Bowles Together Again Our sweet mother and grandmother, Nola Mackay Bowles, 82, passed away July 28, 2008 in Murray, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Born August 9, 1925 in Taylorsville, Utah, daughter of Vernal and Vera Elizabeth Bawden Mackay. Married Robert I. Bowles May 22, 1946 in Granger, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom was a mother and grandmother to everyone. A gracious lady who welcomed all into her home, a home that was filled with love for her family and all of their friends. A place where everyone was always welcome. Her greatest joy was her husband and family. I love you and Thank you were her favorite words. All of us were taught the true meaning of love by our sweet, special mother. Survived by her children: Brent (Suzette) Bowles, R. Blaine (Kristine) Bowles, Pat (Kim) Richardson, Roxanne (James) Emery and Charlene (Bill) Rogers; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; siblings: Margaret Mecham, Thurman Mackay, Alvin Mackay, Thelma (James) Thomas; sister-in-law, Addie Mackay. Preceded in death by husband, Robert I. Bowles; brothers: Roscoe, Ralph, Kenneth; sister, Ann McDougal; grandson, Brad Emery; granddaughter, Allison Bowles. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville Central Stake, 4950 South 1950 West. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 9:30-10:40 a.m. Interment, Herriman City Cemetery.
