Norma Malloque

November 9, 1948 — July 26, 2010

Norma Louise Malloque passed away on July 26, 2010, at the age of 61. She was born on November 9, 1948, in Morenci, AZ to Louis Frank and Ruth Irene Malloque. Norma graduated from Morenci High School in 1966, and went on to become a licensed cosmetologist in 1967. One year later her son, Louis Edward, was born. Norma worked at Phelps Dodge as a Furnace Helper for 8 years. After realizing she needed to further her education, she attended Pima Medical Institute and became a registered Medical Assistant, and later attended Eastern AZ College and became a Certified EMT. She was also employed at Revco/Rx Plus Drug Store for a number of years. She proudly served the Arizona Department of Corrections - ASPC-Safford Health Services, for 17 years. She was known for her hard work and was looking forward to her retirement in early 2011. Ms. Malloque is survived by her son, Lynn, daughter-in-law, Arlene and grandchildren Daryn and Derek, and brother, Ken (Jeanette). Vigil and Rosary will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the St. Rose of Lima Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Hubbard Cemetery.
