Norman P. Rushton What A Treasure Norm was one unique loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He passed away at his home on December 15, 2009, at the age of 75. Born in Riverton, Utah, July 27, 1934. Son of Wilford and Myrtle Lucy Park Rushton. Married Yulene Anderson, September 18, 1954. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a hard-working cowboy in his early years. Norm loved animals, especially horses, fresh country air and music, and being with his family and friends. He gave us the gift of memories. Oh, Boy we love him, we are going to miss him! He worked for 18 years at Winder Dairy, then 27 years at Salt Lake County. He is survived by his wife, Yulene and his 4 children, Tawnya (Hector) Tapia, Joni (David) Warr, Doug (Peggy) Rushton, Blake Rushton (Lori Alires); 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (Don) Willard, Joe (Connie) Rushton, Frank (Marilyn) Rushton, Boyd (Barbra) Rushton, DeeAnna (Bill) Shelton. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheri Walk; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 21, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger West 3rd Ward, 3935 West 2925 South. A viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
