Oluf Hartvigsen

Oluf W. Hartvigsen Olie Oluf Woodruff Hartvigsen, 90, passed away August 18,2007 in Murray, Utah. Born July 2, 1917 in Downey, Idaho, son of John Hagrup and Elida Sophia Eggen Hartvigsen. Married Betty Pryor August 13, 1960 in Winnemucca, Nevada; she preceded him in death. He was a member of the LDS Church. Was a veteran of the US Army where he was a member of the Tank Destroyers Battalion and transferred to Aviation Engineers. He worked for 40 years as a heavy equipment operator and road engineer. He enjoyed returning to the roads he had build over the years. Also enjoyed fishing and traveling. Survived by son, Allen (Darla) Hartvigsen; grandchildren: Joey Allen, Nicole Sophia, Kyra Joy and Seth Lee. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Hyrum Cemetery, Hyrum, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
