Owen Olson

Owen (Keith) Olson 1929 ~ 2006 Our loving husband, father and grandfather, age 76, faithfully returned home to his Heavenly Father, due to complications of surgery, July 29, 2006 surrounded by his family. Born to Carl Oscar and Helen Lindgren Olson on December 29, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. He especially enjoyed teaching Gospel Doctrine. He graduated from East High School. Retired from BGA and Rubber Engineering, after 40 years of service, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was sealed to his sweetheart, of 45 years, Norma VeRowe Crosby, in the Salt Lake Temple May 19, 1961. Survived by his wife; children: Karen (Dave) Jensen, Barbara Olson, Gary (Sheri) Olson and Amy Price. He loved his grandchildren: Natalie (Jason) Pyles, Tyler, Stacey, Tiffany, Cameron, Kaitlynn, Shantel and Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; and grandson, Jason. The family would like to thank Yolanda, at CareSource Hospice, for her loving care. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2006, 12:00 noon at the Riverview Ward, 1350 West 4800 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road. In our Fathers house are many mansions, and we know he awaits us there.
