Pamela Jane Ghormley, 63, of Safford, entered into eternal rest on December 21, 2017 while in Texas visiting her family. She was born June 30, 1954 in Springerville, Arizona to William Henry & Launa Hulsey Burk.
She graduated from Round Valley High School in Eagar, Arizona and the went on to Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona where she attended for one year. On August 21, 1979, Pam married her eternal companion and sweetheart William C. "Bill" Ghormley II in the Mesa Temple and to this union they added a son William Jared and a daughter Heather Janae Ghormley. Pam & Bill were married for 38 loving years.
Pam was a homemaker who took great joy in raising her family. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings with her favorite being Primary but also loved Relief Society. In her spare time, she graduated from the Wilton Cake Decorating class and loved to decorate cakes. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles, traveling with her husband, reading and listening to CD's and doing crafts of many kinds.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband William Claude Ghormley II of Safford, Arizona, her daughter Heather Janae (Brandon) Sagers of Fort Davis, Texas, her son William Jared (Toni) Ghormley of Holbrook, Arizona, her granddaughters Violet Nicole & Lily Clara Sagers, her grandsons Cody Alan, Cooper Jay & Conner Scott Ghormley, sisters Myrna Udall of Eagar, Arizona, Glenda Burk of Beaverton, Oregon, Beverly Campeau of Springerville, Arizona, Marilyn Cole of Eagar, Arizona, and her brother William Fred Burk of Grants, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Launa Burk and her sister Charlene Alexander.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 20th Street Chapel, 303 W. 20th Street in Safford, Arizona, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Eagar Cemetery in Eagar, Arizona at 1:00 p.m.
